Holly Krystek, DDS
Dr. Krystek graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1996 and has her bachelor’s degree in zoology with a minor in chemistry from Western Illinois University. She also has advanced education in the following fields:

• Cosmetic Dentistry
• Oral Surgery
• Root Canal Therapy
Dr. Krystek has been serving the Muscatine, IA, community for over 25 years, consistently prioritizing her professional development. She is committed to staying at the forefront of dental practices by dedicating herself to continuous learning. Whether through reading, listening to podcasts, attending online courses, or participating in in-person classes, Dr. Krystek ensures she remains informed about the latest techniques and advancements in dentistry.
Her primary objective as a dentist is to help patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. As life expectancy continues to increase, preserving natural teeth is more critical than ever. Research has shown that individuals who retain their own teeth experience a higher quality of life compared to those without them. Dr. Krystek is passionate about preventing dental issues before they become more serious, helping her patients maintain their smiles for years to come.
She is an avid learner and creative enthusiast. She has had a love for horses since childhood and continues to pursue her passion through weekly riding lessons. She also enjoys participating in spin classes at the YMCA, playing games, and spending time outdoors, whether through sports or gardening.

Dr. Krystek has a husband who is a nurse at the V.A. hospital. Together, they have a daughter who loves horses and swimming, and they have two pets, a dog and a bunny.
She loves to learn and create things. Dr. Krystek has loved horses ever since she was 5 years old and takes riding lessons weekly. She loves spin classes at the YMCA. She also enjoys playing games, cards, and enjoys anything outside, including sports and gardening.
Misty – Office Manager
Misty has been an invaluable member of our team at Lifetime Dentistry for the past 15 years, bringing over 25 years of experience in customer service to her role. She is deeply committed to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment, working alongside a team that shares her passion for providing exceptional care to our patients. Misty is dedicated to the personal and professional growth of her team, setting monthly goals that encourage continuous improvement and learning in all areas of their lives.
A strong advocate for maintaining a healthy lifestyle, Misty believes in the importance of taking care of both the mind and body. She prioritizes fitness and wellness, incorporating regular workouts into her routine to stay energized and focused. Outside of work, Misty enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and her puppy Taz. She also finds peace in activities like attending church, reading, and camping with her family, embracing every opportunity to live a balanced and fulfilling life.
Maricruz – Clinical Team Leader
Maricruz has been a valued member of our team for over 10 years and brings nearly 25 years of experience in customer service. Her extensive background and versatility have allowed her to contribute across every department, making her an essential resource who can step in and support wherever needed.
She appreciates being part of a collaborative and cohesive team, and her positive attitude is a key part of our workplace culture.
Outside of work, Maricruz enjoys spending quality time with her husband, son, and their dog. Her interests include sports, crafting, organization, and connecting with family and friends.
Crystal – Dental Hygienist
Crystal has been part of our dental team for over 10 years now and is always happy to provide ethical and high-quality patient care as part of a team.
Dedicated to education, she has a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene from The University of Iowa College of Dentistry, an Associate of Science, Associate of Arts and a dental assisting degree from Kirkwood Community College.
When she is not at Lifetime Dentistry, helping patients with their dental hygiene, she enjoys reading.
Meghan - Dental Assistant Trainee
Meghan joined our team as a Dental Assistant Trainee with a strong background in patient care. After graduating high school in 2021, she pursued her education at a technical school, graduating in 2022 as a certified pharmacy technician. She worked in the field for two years before transitioning to dentistry, where she has found a new passion for assisting chairside and helping patients feel at ease.
Meghan loves being part of the dental team, learning something new every day, and ensuring that every patient receives the highest level of care and attention. She takes pride in making patients comfortable in the chair and guiding them through their treatment process with compassion and clarity.
Outside of work, Meghan enjoys camping, shopping, and taking road trips. She cherishes time spent with her family—her mom, dad, and brother—as well as her beloved pets: three cats (Stella, Mitten, and Dude) and her dog, Lilly.
A firm believer in cleanliness and organization, Meghan maintains a meticulous approach to both her work and home life. Her attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a well-organized environment make her a valuable asset to our practice.
